Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Stir in the pecan halves.
  4. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake the pie for 55-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing and serving.
